Alabama Crimson Tide defensive back Ronnie Harrison easily picks off Tennessee Volunteers quarterback Joshua Dobbs for a 56-yard touchdown return.

The Tennessee Volunteers have not beaten their cross-divisional rival Alabama Crimson Tide since the 2006 NCAA season. It will be a lot harder for the Volunteers to upend the Crimson Tide if quarterback Joshua Dobbs keeps throwing the ball to defensive back Ronnie Harrison.

Down 7-0 late in the first quarter, Dobbs doesn’t see Harrison, who jumps his pass for an easy 56-yard pick-six. That score would put the Crimson Tide up 14-0 after the PAT before the end of the first quarter.

Alabama is one of those teams you just can’t turn the ball over against. Nick Saban’s Crimson Tide will make even the most disciplined team pay for their offensive miscue with points of turnovers.

Tennessee has talent, but has shown a proclivity to being careless with the football in 2016. The Volunteers turned the ball over a staggering seven times in defeat to the Texas A&M Aggies on the road only a week ago.

However, no lead is safe against the Volunteers offense. They have trailed in every game this season. Tennessee has either tied its opponent in the fourth quarter or taken the deciding lead. Then again, the Volunteers haven’t played a team like the Crimson Tide yet.

Harrison pretty much walked into the end zone on his interception return. It was one of those picks that he was going to go into the end zone untouched. Dobbs has to do a better job of not telegraphing his passes against this elite Alabama secondary. That pick was rough for Tennessee.
