Jeremy Kerley-San Francisco 49ers

One of the most interesting QB situations to watch today will be in Buffalo where Colin Kaepernick returns to the field as starting QB of the 49ers against the Bills. Aside from the off-field stuff, Kaepernick’s return will be important for fantasy owners to watch to see what value players might have in coach Chip Kelly’s offense with Kaep under center.

One player who should continue to be involved is Jeremy Kerley. Kerley is playing out of the slot which is always a high-utilization spot in Kelly’s attack. The sixth-year receiver out of TCU joined the ‘niners late in preseason after being acquired from Detroit in a trade. He has gotten into the end zone in each of the last two weeks while totaling 14 catches and 190 yards.

Even with Kaepernick in for Blaine Gabbert, Kerley its still the most valuable 49ers WR, and I think he can be a solid flex start especially in PPR leagues. The Bills rank in the middle of the pack against opposing WR, but they’ve been playing well lately. Still, Kerley is one of the WR sleepers that I think is being over-looked in many leagues coming into the day.
