Robert Woods-Buffalo Bills

Woods has become a regular on my WR sleepers list over the last few weeks and continues to be a pretty good option since he’s serving as the team’s top receiver while Sammy Watkins is sidelined.

Last week, Woods was a disappointment with just two catches for 26 yards despite being targeted six times. He was overthrown by Tyrod Taylor on what could have been a 56-yard touchdown in the second half, and he remains heavily involved in the Buffalo passing game.

The reason Woods makes my list again this week is that he’s in a great matchup against the 49ers in Buffalo. San Francisco has allowed multiple WR touchdowns in three of their last four games, and if the Bills are going to throw into the end zone today Woods has a good chance of being the target. His role keeps him on the fringes of being a starting option every week if you need a short-term fill-in.
