Jamison Crowder-Washington

Throughout his career, Washington QB Kirk Cousins has shown an affinity to throwing the ball underneath. His connection with Jordan Reed over the middle has made Reed one of the best fantasy tight ends on a weekly basis. However, Reed sustained the fifth concussion of his career this past week and will miss at least Week 6.

Some of his targets could go to another Cousins-favorite in slot receiver Jamison Crowder. Crowder had 18 targets in the first two weeks of the season and had a combined 12 catches for 97 yards and a touchdown. He has taken a bit of a back seat the last three weeks as the team has used Reed and Vernon Davis in two-tight end sets leaving Crowder on the sideline.

Since it’s going to be Reed on the sideline this week, look for Crowder to be one of the better WR sleepers to target in DFS play. He should be under-priced and able to deliver this week as a flex option against the Eagles. Philly’s defense is legit and can put pressure on the QB. When they do, look for Cousins to dump the ball underneath to Crowder who should end up with a lot of catches today.
