Tyler Lockett-Seattle Seahawks

Admittedly, I’ve been in too early on Lockett this season expected him to produce numbers the last few weeks before the Seahawks bye when he was a virtual no-show for his fantasy owners. Now his struggles make a little more sense since we know he was battling a PCL injury for most of the year.

Lockett only totaled one catch in the last two weeks before the bye week after a solid 99-yard game against the Rams in Week 2. He was un-involved in the offense due to his injury, but that should shift coming back off their bye last week. This week, coach Pete Carroll said he will have no restrictions, and hopefully both he and Russell Wilson are back to their top-tier form as the Seahawks will need to rise to the occasion as they welcome in the red-hot Falcons this week.

Atlanta’s offense has been top-notch, but their defense has struggled in general aside from a strong showing against Paxton Lynch in Denver last week. The Falcons have surrendered at least 130 yards and one WR touchdown every week this year and are allowing the 12th-most fantasy points to opposing WR. Those numbers and his tantalizing upside are enough to have me back in on Lockett as one of my WR sleepers to watch this week.
