Here is the projected College Football Playoff after Week 7.

The seventh week of the college football season has come to a close and the playoff race is heating up. In fact, the entire playoff race almost got turned upside down on Saturday, courtesy of two overtime games. The Clemson Tigers and Ohio State Buckeyes should feel pretty lucky right now.

After North Carolina State missed a field goal to win the game, the Clemson Tigers were able to hold on in overtime. It was not a win that inspired confidence in a lot of people, but they did what they needed to do and won the game.

The Ohio State Buckeyes came from behind against a great Wisconsin team on the road to force overtime. They would hold on for the win in overtime and would also survive the scare that they faced. That means the projected top four playoff teams stay in place this week.

Clemson would likely hold onto their playoff spot because of the fact they are undefeated as of now. They have looked really vulnerable and it wouldn’t be surprising to see them slip up and someone else take over their spot. How convenient would an Ohio State/Clemson Game be right now?

As for the other battle, Washington will likely get in if they go undefeated. The Huskies taking on the Alabama Crimson Tide would be a fun battle for the ages. The College Football Playoff polls will be coming out very soon and that’s when it starts to get real for each of these teams.
