Through the first seven weeks of the College Football season, things are shaking up in the Top 25 that should make for an interesting finish to theĀ year.
Alabama is a monster, a boring and scary monster that we should all be deathly afraid of.Ā
Aside from that, it was a pretty fun weekend of college football.
Ohio State got itās first test of the season, weāve learned that Clemson might be one of the weaker undefeated teams and weāve got Oklahoma and Louisville waiting in the weeds ready to see a team stumble. We do see a shakeup in the Top 10 however after Ohio State survived Wisconsin over the weekend, what else shakes out in the FanSided 25?
Mike Leach has the one of the four best teams in the Pac-12, yes youāre reading this right. Even more shocking is that heās doing this all at Washington State. Maybe an even bigger shock about this is the fact that itās a balanced effort thatās getting the job done.
Over the course of this season, Washington State has stopped some of the conferenceās best offenses like Oregon, UCLA and Stanford. I know that those teams arenāt what they used to be but the fact Washington State is doing the damage to these teams is impressive. QB Luke Falk is emerging as one of the conferenceās best QBs and will go on the road to face Arizona State and Oregon State. Two games that arenāt easy but solid tests for this Cougars squad
Let me get this straight, North Carolina games should not take place in the middle of a hurricane? Got it. Well now that weāve got that clear, let it be known North Carolina is a much different team when faced with extreme weather conditions.
The Tar Heels battled different hurricanes this week as they went toe to toe with Miami and left South Beach with the lead in the ACC Coastal division back in their hands. UNC QB Mitch Trubisky threw for almost 300 yards and two touchdowns. The win puts North Carolina right back in the drivers seat when it comes to the ACC Coastal race. Up next for UNC is a trip to Virginia, they should win there but this is the ACC Coastal, nothing is certain.
