Charlotte Hornets big man Frank Kaminsky has a Steve Bartman Chicago Cubs jersey. He wore it to the United Center before his game against the Chicago Bulls.

Charlotte Hornets center Frank Kaminsky may have grown up in Chicago, but he let the world know that he’s not a fan of the Chicago Cubs. The former standout for the Wisconsin Badgers grew up in Chicago and rooted for the Chicago White Sox as a kid.

Before the Hornets’ preseason game against the Chicago Bulls, Kaminsky was seen walking around the United Center in a Steve Bartman jersey to troll the Cubs.

The Cubs are playing in the National League Championship Series, while Kaminsky’s White Sox failed to qualify for the American League postseason for the eighth season in a row. Is Kaminsky about to get destroyed by the United Center faithful? Not necessarily.

See, the Bulls are owned by Jerry Reinsdorf, who also owns the White Sox. Not everybody in Chicago is up in arms about the Cubs possibly making it to the World Series. The South Side prefers the team from the Junior Circuit. Everybody in Chicago likes the Bulls, but it is split down the middle between the Cubs and the White Sox.

It’s hilarious to see a seven-footer wearing a Bartman jersey walking around the United Center. Bartman is the fan that interfered with a fly ball back in the 2003 NLCS versus the then Florida Marlins.

The Cubs were five outs away from reaching the World Series. Bartman was hopelessly ridiculed by the national media for that gaffe. The Marlins would beat the New York Yankees in that Fall Classic.
