With Bill Goldberg making his return to WWE on RAW Monday night, will Brock Lesnar be there to greet him?

Last week WWE gave us a blockbuster announcement that, when the year began, you really didn’t think in a million years would happen. With the release of the WWE 2K17 video game, Bill Goldberg will be making his return to the company for the first time since 2004. Presumably, he will be on the show to address a match with Brock Lesnar, a match that’s reportedly set to take place at Survivor Series next month.

Now with this, of course people are wondering if we’re going to get a showdown between Goldberg and the Beast Incarnate. Basically, people are asking the question: Will Brock Lesnar be in attendance as well in Denver?

Well, the bad news is that he will more than likely not, as this is not one of his scheduled dates. However, if you’re really looking forward to seeing Brock in a WWE ring again no matter what, well, he is officially advertised for next week’s show that will be taking place in his home state of Minnesota.

So ultimately, no, Lesnar will not be making an appearance on Monday night.

But there is a bit of more good news, though.

According to a report from PW Insider, while Goldberg will not be face-to-face with Lesnar, he will more than likely get some talking time with the man who called him out last week on RAW, Paul Heyman. It seems that Heyman is backstage at the moment and ready to get the ball rolling on this feud.

Even with Brock not appearing, it will still be an historic moment on Monday when Goldberg walks through that curtain.
