Penguins vs. Canadiens live stream: Watch online
Here’s how you can watch the Montreal Canadiens home opener against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Tuesday online.
The Montreal Canadiens will be having their first home game of the 2016-17 NHL season on Tuesday when they host the reigning Stanley Cup champion Pittsburgh Penguins. Montreal will have an advantage, as the Penguins will enter the game having played on Monday against the Colorado Avalanche.
Montreal is led by a variety of players. Their offense is led by their impressive first line of Max Pacioretty, Alex Galchenyuk, and Brendan Gallagher. Alex Radulov is another huge name on their offense. This will be the first home game for Radulov and Andrew Shaw with the Canadiens. It will also be the home debut for defenseman Shea Weber, who the Habs got for P.K. Subban this offseason. Carey Price will likely not be playing, since he’s recovering from the flu.
Pittsburgh could be getting Sidney Crosby back, as he has been showing encouraging signs after suffering a concussion. This would be the first game of the season for him. Even if they don’t have him, they’re led by center Evgeni Malkin and forward Phil Kessel. The Penguins enter the matchup with a record and are currently in first place in the Metropolitan Division. It sounds like goaltender Mike Condon might be making his Penguins debut against his former team. They enter the game with a 2-0-1 record.
