Stephen A. Smith overreacted and called the Redskins losers after they celebrated their fourth straight win against the Eagles.

The Redskins beat the Eagles Sunday to improve to 4-2. After the game, Redskins players Chris Baker and Ricky Jean Francois were saying “we run the East, y’all forgot who the real champs of the NFC East are.” Seems pretty normal after a team wins their fourth straight and beat a division rival.

According to Stephen A. Smith, they are way out of line and behavior like this is the reason they are losers.

The NFC East has not been the best division over the last couple of years, but this season, they have the most wins out of any division and the Redskins sit in second place at 4-2 with a 2-1 division record.

Let’s remember a couple of weeks ago when the Eagles were 3-0 and Carson Wentz was the next franchise player. In his rant, Smith said that the Redskins shouldn’t be cocky after a win against a rookie quarterback with minimal weapons. All is forgotten of the first three weeks so quickly after the Redskins beat them.

Smith also went on about the past and how the Redskins haven’t won anything in recent memory. Well, this is the present and the Redskins are worried about this season and the future. The Cowboys have not won anything in recent memory and the Eagles are a mess and haven’t won and won’t win anything anytime soon. The Giants are the only team in the division to win a Super Bowl in recent memory but that was in 2008 and 2012 so it’s time to get over it and move on.

As for the present, the Redskins are the best team in their division and have one of the most explosive offenses in the entire league. The future is behind us and people like Stephen A. who keep harping on it are what’s wrong with sports.

Don’t be surprised if the Redskins go to Dallas on Thanksgiving, beat the Cowboys, take control of the division and win a playoff game. Then we’ll see if Stephen A. still thinks the Redskins are losers.
