Arsenal went up two goals right before halftime following a fantastic shot from Theo Walcott.

Theo Walcott continues his goal scoring streak for Arsenal as he hit a fantastic shot from outside the box into the upper corner. Walcott found himself unmarked about 25 yards outside of the Ludogorets goal, stepped up taking advantage of the space given by the Bulgarian defense and hit a powerful dipping shot past a hopeless Vladislav Stoyanov.

Here is Walcott’s third goal in the last two games.

The pace of the game is flowing freely, with opportunities at both ends. We are expecting more goals at the Emirates as Arsenal are using their quick pace to exploit the slower Ludogorets back line. The Arsenal forwards have had success taking advantage of their superior speed. Alexis Sanchez, Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain seem to be having a grand time running straight at the Ludogorets back line.

On the other hand, the Bulgarian champions have managed to find some gaps behind the Arsenal midfield, with Cafu and Wanderson coming dangerously close to tying the game. David Ospina had to come to the Gunners rescue on two occasions.

Arsenal are counting on collecting all three points from this home match against the group minnows and positioning themselves for one of the two qualifying places along with PSG, who are also leading at the half. Wenger’s men will be happy to head into the halftime with a two goal cushion, and are looking  to avoid having to sweat this one out in a similar fashion to their Premier League game against Swansea. The Bulgarian side has shown itself capable of counterattacking dangerously and the North London side seems suspect at the back, allowing plenty of space.
