3. Steve Addazio

Boston College still hasn’t proven that they can win a game in the ACC. They will get another crack at doing so on Saturday, when they play host to Syracuse. While they have three wins on the year, they have all been against lesser opponents and none jumps off the page.

If Steve Addazio wants to keep his job, he needs at least three conference wins that will secure his team a bowl game. If he can’t get three, then he should just consider himself looking for new opportunities elsewhere.

The good news is that after a 3-9 season, one more win would guarantee the team a better record than the one that they had last season. However, that’s not really saying too much in the context of things and is certainly nothing noteworthy for trying to keep a job.

If he loses against Syracuse this week, the road to keeping his job is only going to get tougher. Each loss adds pressure and puts him one week closer to getting fired. The program isn’t going to be slow to make a change here.
