The lawsuit filed against Johnny Manziel for damage to a rental property reveals some gross details.

Johnny Manziel just can’t stop generating headlines. He was seen in Las Vegas sporting a blonde wig and mustache, insisting he be called Billy.  Shortly after, The Dallas Morning News reported that Paul Manziel said that his son wouldn’t live to see his 24th birthday. Reports of an altercation at a friends wedding came out. Months of Manziel party-spotting followed, and he promised he would be sober by July 1.

Seeking refuge come July, Johnny Manziel holed up in the famous $50 million Weidlake Mansion in the Hollywood Hills. According to a TMZ Sports report, a friend of Manziel’s named Bryan Chase signed an eight month lease at Weidlake Mansion. Manziel paid rent and utilities for three months until being evicted for failing to pay October rent. Upon inspection, it was revealed that $187,000 worth of damages had been done. Weidlake Mansion owner Danny Fitzgerald described the estate conditions as “the worst frat house you’ve ever seen.” Fitzgerald stated his intentions to sue Johnny Manziel for damages.

An update to the original report today provided more details. According to lawsuit, “They broke doors and mirrors, and failed to clean up and immense amount of dog feces and urine that was left throughout multiple rooms of the house for days, if not weeks.” $125,000 of unpaid rent is also being sought in the suit. Despite abandoning the house in such a condition, Johnny Manziel assured Danny Fitzgerald that “This is on me %1000” and promised to cover damages. He was quoted saying “I’m a man of my word.”

Johnny Manziel has publicly claimed he only occasionally stayed at Wiedlake. He also has said that he never signed anything and has done nothing wrong. Manziel thinks that he has been unfairly targeted and brought into this for “obvious reasons.” Johnny Manziel has not been reached for comment since additional details of the suit have broke.
