Can the Oakland Raiders cool off the suddenly-hot Jacksonville Jaguars? Check here where you can watch these teams square off.

Despite last week’s humbling home loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, the Oakland Raiders have been one of the more successful teams during this 2016 NFL season.

Meanwhile, the Jacksonville Jaguars have rebounded from a disappointing 0-3 start to post close wins over the Indianapolis Colts (30-27) and Chicago Bears (17-16). Last week’s comeback victory came courtesy of a 17-point fourth quarter.

Raiders’ head coach Jack Del Rio, who once roamed the sidelines for the Jaguars, hopes to stop the bleeding by remaining perfect on the road this year. Oakland has posted win this season at New Orleans, at Tennessee and at Baltimore. But the Jaguars look a little more confident than during their troubling winless start. The defense has settled in and now ranks eighth in the NFL in both total yards and passing yards allowed per game.

That’s something that has to concern Raiders’ quarterback Derek Carr, off to another terrific start in this his third season. On the other hand, up-and-down Jacksonville hurler Blake Bortles takes aim at the worst pass defense in the league – one that is allowing 312.7 yards per game while surrendering 12 aerial scores in six contests.

One thing is for sure. You’re going to see plenty of talent when it comes to the wide receiver position in this contest. The Raiders boast Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree, as well as reserves Andre Holmes and Seth Roberts. Jacksonville counters with Allen Robinson and Allen Hurns, as well as Marqise Lee and Rashad Greene. And as we found out last week, Arrelious Benn should be included in the conversation as well.

As previously mentioned, the Jaguars’ defense is starting to round into form. On the other hand, will Carr and his talented supporting cast have any success against Gus Bradley’s club? This could wind up being a very important game when it comes to the AFC playoff picture.
