Alabama defensive lineman Jonathan Allen scooped up a fumble and returned it for a big man touchdown.

When it comes to big man touchdowns, Alabama defensive lineman Jonathan Allen has refined the art of scoring them. Coming into the game against the Texas A&M Aggies with one TD already under his belt on the year, Allen showed how talented and agile he is once again.

As linebacker Ryan Anderson broke up the exchange between Trevor Knight and Keith Ford, the ball was loose on the ground. That’s when Allen was able to scoop it perfectly and Knight looked like a small child trying to bring the big man down.

"UNREAL. @AlabamaFTBL‘s defense is remarkable. Jonathan Allen’s 2nd TD of the year is a scoop and score. https://t.co/8OVLEQFabQ— SEConCBS (@SEConCBS) October 22, 2016"

Allen is already one of the top defensive line prospects for the NFL Draft and it’s big plays like this that make the scouts love him. He’s incredibly athletic for his size and his awareness to make a play like this was off the charts.

Big man touchdowns are always fun to watch, but there’s just something about the way Allen does them. He even had a nice little burst of acceleration for his size as he got the ball in his hands. He is not an easy person to bring down by any stretch of the word. The play came at a key time when Alabama needed it in a close game.
