Mesut Ozil scored a second-half hat-trick. They sit level on points at 19 with leaders Manchester City, trailing by one in goal difference. They will be expected to secure all three points at home against Middlesbrough on Saturday.
A good way to describe the current form of Boro would be “exact opposite of Arsenal.” They have won one game all season in all competitions, and that was back on Aug. 21.
They have lost four out of their last six Premier League matches, and sit just above the drop zone thanks to goal difference. Middlesbrough last won at Arsenal in April 2001. Barring a miracle, that will remain true.

Arsenal come into this match as heavy favorites. With their current form they should count on a three or four goal victory. Boro will be desperate to stop their slide down the league table, but expecting any kind of positive result at the Emirates is just wishful thinking.
