Burnley plays Everton at Turf Moor on Saturday, October. 22 in the English Premier League. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
Burnley welcomes Everton to Turf Moor in match day nine of the Premier League. The two clubs have not been in the best form of late with both teams only winning one of their last five games. Everton will certainly come into this match as favorites though, after holding Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City to a 1-1 draw at the Etihad.
Both of Burnley’s victories this season have been 2-0 over Liverpool and Watford respectively. Repeating that task will be difficult though as Everton have looked like a very strong side this season despite their recent blip. On paper they should be too much for Burnley.
Sean Dyche’s side has yo-yoed between the Premier League and the Championship in recent years but he will be hoping that they are here for more than one season this time round. Games like this one are probably the biggest test of which way that goes.
Everton is a stable Premier League club that has the ability to challenge the top four. They also possess one of the league’s best strikers in Romelu Lukaku. If The Clarets can keep him quiet then they may stand a chance of taking three points from this matchup.

Everton sits in sixth place in the table but they are only four points back from top spot. A win here will keep the pressure on the clubs above them and get them back on the right path. Burnley has enough experience to make this game interesting but ultimately this result will come down to whether they can get through the first 30 minutes without conceding.
If they can survive this period, Everton might question their ability to put the ball in the back of the net, leaving the door open for Burnley to hit them with a sucker punch.

Unfortunately for Burnley, they are without their Belgian playmaker Steven Defour, who is out with a hamstring injury. Andre Gray has one more match to serve of his ban for past comments made on Twitter.
Everton’s only notable absence is left back Leighton Baines. Brian Oviedo performed well at Man City though so this is not a huge miss for the Toffees.
