For the first time ever, the Rutgers Scarlet Knights take on the Minnesota Golden Gophers in a Big Ten clash Saturday afternoon. Here is how you watch this Big Ten game online.

The Rutgers Scarlet Knights make a trip to Minneapolis as they are set to square off against the Golden Gophers in an afternoon showdown. Kickoff from TCF Bank Stadium will be at 12:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, Oct. 22. ESPNU will have the telecast. WatchESPN will have game available live steam.

Both teams are entering the game needing a conference win. Rutgers especially, because they are winless thus far. The Scarlet Knights and Golden Gophers have records of 2-5 and 4-2, respectively.

Rutgers is coming off a hard-fought loss to Illinois. After being drubbed by Ohio State by a combined total of 136-0, it was good to see Rutgers come out competing against the Fighting Illini. Although, their record may not reflect how much they have improved, Chris Ash has the program heading in the right direction.

In the case of the Golden Gophers, Minnesota is fresh off a big win after defeating the Maryland Terrapins. After losing back-to-back Big Ten games against Penn State and Iowa, a win was what the doctor ordered for Minnesota.
