Here’s how you can watch Saturday afternoon’s Nebraska vs Purdue game from Lincoln online.
After going just 5-7 in the regular season in 2015, Mike Riley has turned things around in his second year as the head coach of Nebraska. In fact, the Cornhuskers are 6-0 to start the year and look like a true threat to get to the Big Ten title game.
Tommy Armstrong is coming off his worst performance of the season against Indiana, but the Cornhuskers still came away with a big 27-22 road victory. He has passed for 1,359 yards and 10 touchdowns with four interceptions this year.
Alonzo Moore and Jordan Westerkamp lead the team in receiving, but Armstrong’s legs have kept defenses on their toes. He is second on the team in rushing behind Terrell Newby with 329 yards and five touchdowns.
Purdue, on the other hand, is reeling. The Boilermakers have gone just 3-3 through six games and have fired head coach Darrell Hazell. That type of distraction might end up in a lost season and this team will look to avoid losing out and remaining around .500.
David Blough leads the team in passing and has taken over for two quarterbacks who have transferred to SEC schools. He has passed for 1,756 yards and 12 touchdowns, which is solid, but his 10 interceptions are high. He might be in for a long day against Nebraska’s improved secondary.
