The Ohio State Buckeyes face the Penn State Nittany Lions at Beaver Stadium in college football Week 8. Here’s how to watch the game online.
After the first seven weeks of the college football season, the Ohio State Buckeyes are the No. 2 team in the country with College Football Playoff hopes heavily in play. However, Urban Meyer’s group is now getting into the heart of Big Ten play. That could mean roadblocks along the way to the CFP. And like always, playing the Penn State Nittany Lions at Beaver Stadium always has the potential to be a place where a top team can slip up.
JT Barrett has every bit as phenomenal as expected for Ohio State this season at quarterback. Finally owning the position for himself, he’s accounted for 22 touchdowns (16 passing, six rushing) through just six games. With weapons Mike Weber and Curtis Samuel around him and a defense loaded with more weapons, no one’s denying that this Buckeyes team is for real.
Penn State, however, has a weapon of their own in kicker Joey Julius. Okay, maybe he’s just a kicker that can hit that’s become an internet favorite (he’s still great). However, the Nittany Lions do have legit stars. Running back Saquon Barkley is a force for this Penn State team. Moreover, quarterback Trace McSorley is competent at the very least. Surrounded by white shirts at night in a raucous Beaver Stadium, the home team has enough to make things interesting.

There’s no doubt about who the better team in this matchup is, the edge going to Ohio State. However, Penn State has talent and things can get wild at night in Beaver Stadium. You won’t want to turn away from this one for a second—anything can happen and can do so in a flash.
