By Mike Dyce
What is the schedule, date and times of the World Series and the seven potential games that could be played to award Major League Baseball’s championship?
The World Series is getting closer as the National League Championship Series between the Chicago Cubs and Los Angeles Dodgers wraps up this weekend. The Cleveland Indians already beat the Toronto Blue Jays in the American League Championship Series to punch their ticket to the World Series.
The first game will take place on Tuesday in Cleveland, Ohio. The Cleveland Indians are scheduled to host Games 1, 2, 6 and 7. The American League won the MLB All-Star game, earning the American League home-field advantage for the World Series, despite the Cubs having the best record in baseball. The National League team will host Games 3, 4, and 5 on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Games 5, 6, 7 will only be played if necessary.
