NFL official shoves Stefon Diggs off of pile (Video)

NFL officials are becoming too much of a part of the game on Sundays. Here’s an official literally shoving Minnesota Vikings wideout Stefon Diggs of a pile.
In what might be the best game of the 1:00 PM ET hour, the Philadelphia Eagles (3-2) have their hands full when the undefeated Minnesota Vikings (5-0) came to town. Both of these teams lean on their defenses, so a low-scoring affair was definitely something fans could expect.
What fans couldn’t expect were the officials forcing their way into this game. During a pileup on the field, an official in the Vikings/Eagles game literally shoves Vikings star wide receiver Stefon Diggs away from the pile.
This is a bad look for NFL officials for several reasons. First, this is the most high-profile game during the 1:00 PM ET slate of games. Second, Diggs is maybe the best offensive player on the Vikings in 2016. Third, Diggs has missed the last two weeks for the Vikings with a groin injury. Why is that official shoving a guy coming back from a leg injury in the first place?
For the Vikings to be able to stand as one of the best teams in the NFL, they will need their best vertical weapon in Diggs. It’s one thing if the Eagles rough him up a bit, but when the officials are pushing Diggs, that’s just absurd!

That official will get fined by the NFL for this embarrassing moment. His actions might end up relegating this crew to not call any more high-profile games the rest of the way. This was going to be a tight ball game in Philadelphia anyway. Why are the referees making it all the more difficult?
