The Detroit Lions will host the Washington Redskins for a Week 7 matchup on Sunday. Here are all the highlights, the game recap, and the final score.

The Detroit Lions will host the Washington Redskins for an interesting NFC matchup in Week 7. Kickoff from Ford Field will be at 1:00 PM ET. FOX will have the telecast.

Washington has been impressive this last month. After starting the year out 0-2, the Redskins have won their last four games. The look very much like a playoff team in the NFC. The Redskins offense is humming with quarterback Kirk Cousins playing like a franchise signal caller.

Detroit is playing well at 3-3. The Lions are a middle of the pack team in the NFC, but could get into the NFC Playoffs mix if they play well these next few weeks. Quarterback Matthew Stafford is thriving in Jim Bob Cooter’s offensive system. This is a sneaky-good game on the Week 7 slate.

Three Stars

  1. Kirk Cousins: Cousins has been keying the Redskins’ for game winning streak. Look for him to play well on the road on Sunday. He’ll complete 68% of his passes for 275 yards and three passing touchdowns.
  2. Matthew Stafford: Stafford might be having his best season of his NFL career. Look for him to complete 61% of his passes for 340 yards and two touchdown passes.
  3. Marvin Jones: Jones will be Stafford’s favorite receiving target on Sunday. He’ll have seven catches for 115 yards and a touchdown reception.
