Taylor Lewan put points on the board not only for the Titans but for big guys everywhere.

The Tennessee Titans are trying to win an AFCSouth that always seems to be up for grabs. Through the first quarter of the season, they remain within striking distance of the Texans are haven’t yet fallen to the back of the pack like the Colts or Jaguars.

Marcus Mariota and company can’t do much about the Jaguars, who are playing the Raiders at home, but they do have a say in what happens to the Colts. In fact, the Titans so badly want to beat their division rivals that they’re using offensive lineman to score points.

Taylor Lewan joined the illustrious ranks of offensive lineman to have score a touchdown. It’s a rare occurrence, but we were gifted with such a moment on Sunday, courtesy of the horrible Colts defense.

Lewan was an eligible receiver on the play and was left wide open for the touchdown.

It’s not often we see a big boy touchdown like this, but Lewan owned the moment like a damn man.

We also need to acknowledge the fact that the Colts defense is just atrocious. They let the Texans come back from two scores down on Sunday night last week and lose in overtime. They’ve allowed offenses all season long to run over them like a dump truck without brakes, and it’s been an ugly scene for Chuck Pagano’s defense.

When you’re letting offensive lineman score not only touchdowns but easy touchdowns, that’s when you might want to start updating the resume for the offseason.
