4. Tyreek Hill shows off the afterburners

The Kansas City Chiefs aren’t a team that typically goes deep down the field.Everybody knows that Alex Smith is the ultimate game manager, very content to dump the ball down to his running backs and tight ends. But every once in a while, Smith will surprise you.

In the second quarter with a 14-7 lead, Smith decided to load up and take a shot deep down the sideline. The target was Tyreek Hill, the controversial fifth-round pick this spring. Hill, who was drafted mostly because of his 4.3 speed, showed it off and then some on his second touchdown of the season.

3. Huff puffs past Vikings

Many believed that the Eagles-Vikings game was going to be the best matchup of the week. Less than a quarter into the game we all realized just how presumptuous that was, as the parity in the NFL was once again highlighted. There were five turnovers in the first quarter, but eventually the game started to open up for one of the two teams.

The Vikings couldn’t get anything going offensively, and the Eagles used special teams to jump start their offensive production. Josh Huff answered a Blair Walsh field goal by burning the Vikings on a 98-yard kickoff return for a touchdown. It ended up being the moment that sparked the Eagles to take control of the game.
