The Walking Dead spoilers: What’s next for Maggie in season 7?

The Walking Dead season 7 premiere left fans wondering what comes next for Maggie.

The Walking Dead season 7 premiere shocked viewers on Sunday night when Negan’s victims were revealed. After months of impatiently waiting for the conclusion of the season 6 finale cliffhanger, viewers finally found out who died, and they didn’t like the answer.
During the episode, it was revealed through flashbacks of Rick’s point of view that Glenn Rhee and Abraham Ford were Negan’s victims. That’s right, Negan killed Glenn, who has been on the show since the first season. This means that only four original characters are left on the series and that Maggie has lost every single member of her family.
Now everyone is wondering what will Maggie do without Glenn by her side. ComicBook.com reports that Walking Dead viewers will see a new, stronger version of Maggie emerge. Glenn’s death will motivate her to be something more than she has been, and fans are sure to love where she ends up.
In the comic book series, Maggie is devastated over Glenn’s death and decides to leave Alexandria. Maggie, who is pregnant with Glenn’s baby, moves to the Hilltop. This scenario will likely play out on the show as well. Eventually, Maggie is named the leader of the Hilltop people, although that may not happen until a later season.

It seems like Maggie is going to mourn Glenn’s death forever, but she will come out on top. She’ll be able to do things she never thought she could do, and Glenn’s life and death will have a new purpose for Walking Dead viewers.
