Call of Duty Infinite Warfare: 3 ways to improve after beta
1. Increase health or decrease the damage of weapons
It’s unknown whether it was a connection issue or our lack of skills in the beta. The truth is, we got melted (killed extremely fast).
Throughout many of our gameplay moments, we would encounter players from the other team and they would kill us almost in an instant. There was also other instances where we would kill them extremely fast as well. But, this isn’t a good thing.
Whether everyone’s health is extremely low, resulting in you dying very fast in gun fights, or the guns are just way too overpowered, which results in the exact same thing. A change needs to be made to one or the other.
Our solution is to increase the health or decrease the damage of the weapons. Doing either or would ultimately bring more balance to the game.
This was, by far, our biggest complaint in the beta. Turning corners and dying extremely fast was very annoying. But, we also have to think about an important factor: internet connection.
We mentioned this above, but connection is definitely a thing. If somebody is host of a lobby, then they’ll have an advantage over everyone who’s in that lobby. This means they see you before you see them, all of their bullets register much fast than yours, and they tend to last longer in gun fights. Dedicated servers are the solution.
Dedicated servers places everyone on an even playing field and it’s almost like you’re playing locally. Well, nothing compares to playing locally, but it wouldn’t hurt.

This probably won’t happen, so, in that case, increasing health of decreasing weapon damage is the way to go.
