Tonight is the beginning of the NBA’s 2016-17 season. In addition, tonight also marks the first game of the 2016 World Series — which, in case you haven’t heard, will feature the Chicago Cubs playing in the Fall Classic for the first time in 71 years. Naturally, this is an exciting moment for not only long-suffering Chicagoans, but also for a good majority of baseball fans around the country.
Frank Kaminsky, on the other hand, is far from enthused.
As a lifelong Chicago White Sox fan, the Charlotte Hornets forward appears intent on slicing through the jubilant, champagne soaked Windy City air with a Twitter Tessaiga. Most recently, he killed CBS This Morning’s buzz about the Cubs’ success with a hefty dose of sarcasm and fact:
Wrigley Field is prepping this morning for an event Chicago hasn't seen in 71 years: the World Series. pic.twitter.com/MordBAiILj

Funny, I think I've seen one in Chicago before. Can't remember where/when though. My mind must be playing tricks on me https://t.co/YtmISwx735

In case anyone has forgotten — which apparently, a LOT of people have — the White Sox won the World Series back in 2005, so Kaminsky was right to correct a national news outlet on their mistake. CBS later clarified the earlier tweet and apologized to Sox fans, so everything’s all good there.

However, none of that changes the fact that this dude is only a couple of salty tweets away from assuming the position as the new Public Enemy No. 1 in Chicago. You could just dismiss his activity as playful ribbing from a devoted Southsider, but that’d be understatement. Truth is, Frank Kaminsky is a sleepy-eyed assassin, and incendiary tweets are his weapons. He won’t stop until he witnesses the hopes and dreams of Cubs fans fade away for another hundred years.
Don’t believe it? Let’s take a brief look back at all of Kaminsky’s trolling as the Cubs balled their way through the MLB playoffs:
October 17
During a preseason game against the Chicago Bulls, Kaminsky showed up to the United Center in a Steve Bartman Cubs jersey. SAVAGE. It didn’t take long for the Cubs’ Twitter account to clapback with authority.

Kaminsky, opening the Bartman wound even wider, fired back.

The Cubs are known for having one of the more active and humorous pro sports team Twitter accounts out there, so they took the bait in stride.
*Yawn*

You already did that joke.
Then, they went for the former Wisconsin Badger’s soul…

… and he followed with a bicycle kick into a bed of spikes.

While most of Chicago celebrated the Cubs downing the Los Angeles Dodgers and earning their World Series spot, Kaminsky wasted no time in showing his frustration.
Damn.
— Frank Kaminsky III (@FSKPart3) October 23, 2016
However, he quickly followed up with a heartfelt shout-out to one of the biggest Cub fans he knew.
Biggest Sox fan I know... But man I wish my grandpa was alive to see this. I know he's up there celebrating. Congrats @Cubs

What will Kaminsky say next? We’ll have to wait until the first pitch of the historic championship series is thrown. One thing we do know is that whatever happens, his Twitter troll game is going to be top-notch entertainment over the next few days. Keep your eye on his timeline.
