Really no big surprise here, as the Washington Huskies are one of the top teams in the country. On Saturday, the Ohio State Buckeyes fell to the Penn State Nittany Lions on the road, opening up a potential spot for the Huskies in the College Football Playoff. However, they have a huge test on deck in the conference, as they travel to Utah to take on the 17th-ranked Utes in a possible Pac-12 Championship Game preview on Saturday.

Quarterback Jake Browning continues to dice up defenses, as he threw for 291 yards and three touchdowns against no interceptions against Oregon State this past week. Browning has thrown for an incredible 26 touchdowns with only two interceptions this season, and has not thrown an interception since September 24. He got a ton of help from his fellow sophomore running back Myles Gaskin against Oregon State, as Gaskin rushed for 128 yards on 18 carries.

The Huskies ran their record to 7-0 on the season this past week, and will need to stay undefeated if they wish to be considered for the College Football Playoff. Utah is going to be a tough game, as they have a very solid defensive unit. After Utah, Washington still has to play teams that are red-hot, including Colorado, USC, and Washington State. If the Huskies do make it to the College Football Playoff, they will have certainly earned it.
