A look at how to watch Thursday night’s game between California and USC online.
On Thursday night, the California Golden Bears and USC Trojans will go to battle in a Pac-12 conference matchup. This game will take place at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles.
Cal steps into this game at 4-3. They haven’t won back to back games this season, with the same going for ones they’ve lost. They’re coming off a win against Oregon, though, 52-49. It’s the third time the Golden Bears have crossed the 50-point threshold. Quarterback Davis Webb passed for five touchdowns and 325 yards on 61 pass attempts. Running backs Tre Watson and Khalfani Muhammad also had over 140 rushing yards each, giving Cal 636 yards of offense. This was a huge performance for Cal, who will look for a repeat of this on Thursday.
Despite the slow 1-3 start, USC is quietly above .500. They started the year with losses to Alabama, Stanford, and Utah but soundly beat Arizona and Arizona State. Then No. 21-ranked Colorado barely fell to the Trojans too.
USC’s most recent game saw them defeat the Wildcats, 48-14. A strong balanced attack led the way, racking up seven total touchdowns. Quarterback Sam Darnold had five passing touchdowns while running backs Aca’Cedric Ware and Ronald Jones II had the rushing scores. They totaled nearly 600 yards and only allowed about 350. Arizona got held to just 142 passing yards from two quarterbacks, including picking them off twice.
