DeMarco Murray injury update: Titans RB heads to locker room with foot injury
By Jack Crosby
After an outstanding first half, Tennessee Titans running back DeMarco Murray went to the locker room with a foot injury
To say that the Tennessee Titans had a great first half on Thursday night against the lowly Jacksonville Jaguars would be an understatement. They went to the locker room at the half with a 27-0 lead, but things are not looking that good for running back DeMarco Murray.
After a stellar first half in which he ran all over the Jaguars defense, as the second quarter was coming to a close, Murray went to the locker room with a foot injury. A short time after he went back to the locker room, the team announced that he is questionable to return with that injury.
Murray, in his first season as a member of the Titans, really did have an amazing first half as the Titans mauled their AFC South rival. He rushed for 82 yards and a score, and with the way things were going, it looked as if he might end up having a career night by the time all was said and done in this one. However, that doesn’t appear to be the case, as it doesn’t look like he’ll be returning to this one on Thursday night.

Truth be told, with such a big lead and with the way Jacksonville has been playing this season, even if he could return to the field, they may as well save him for the time being to let him get a head start on getting that injury healthy.
With Murray out of this one now, you can expect rookie Derrick Henry to get a few more carries. Earlier in this one, the rookie from Alabama scored his first career touchdown.
As more information becomes available on the Murray injury, we will keep you updated.
