Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 and 2.5 ReMIX coming to PS4

As we wait for Kingdom Hearts III, we’ll be able to play all the other games in the series with the Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX on PS4.

There are always games that come out and instantly capture the heart of gamers everywhere. One of those titles is Kingdom Hearts, which first released on the PlayStation 2 back in 2002. Till this day, it’s considered one of the greatest games of all time.

Kingdom Hearts blends a bunch of great things together. There’s unique gameplay, immersive and emotional storytelling, and a variety of interesting characters all rolled into one to deliver an incredible gaming experience. Throughout the series, you not only see characters based on the Final Fantasy games, but you also encounter many Disney characters. For example, Mickey Mouse, Goofy and Donald Duck are all main characters in the game.

Since the release of the first game, six more Kingdom Hearts games have been released. Some of those include Kingdom Hearts II and Birth by Sleep. And along with new games, there have been collections, which let gamers revisit these games on newer consoles.

Some that stand out are Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX. Unfortunately, for the current generation of consoles, these games were unplayable on the PS4. But in a surprise announcement straight from the series Twitter account, it was announced that these two collections will be coming to the PS4.

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX includes six games. Some of those games are Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. There’s also Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix, and Kingdom Hearts Re:coded.

This is absolutely amazing news since we’re getting Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue soon. It’ll also hold us over until the release of Kingdom Hearts III. You can check out the new trailer for Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX below:
