Lebron James and Stipe Miocic, two of Cleveland’s biggest stars, came together to represent their city at Game 2 of the World Series

On Wednesday night, the MLB’ shared an photo of UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic and 2016 NBA Finals MVP Lebron James sharing a moment as they cheered on their hometown Cleveland Indians, who were looking to take a 2-0 series lead against the Chicago Cubs.

The Indians would go on to lose the game 5-1, thus tying the series up at 1-1.

Miocic (16-2) was last seen defending his belt with a first round destruction of Alistair Overeem at UFC 203, which went down at the Quicken Loans Arena. The Cleveland native previously earned his heavyweight crown with a stunning first round knockout over then champion Fabricio Werdum at UFC 198 earlier this month.

Prior to this, Miocic demolished former title challenger Mark Hunt en route to fifth-round TKO. During the bout, Miocic set a UFC record for the most strikes landed in a fight, outlanding Hunt 361 – 48. He would follow this performance up with a blistering 54-second knockout over former champion Andrei Arlovski.

James, who is unquestionably the biggest star in the city’s history, is coming off his own dominant performance in the form of a masterful triple-double in the Cavs 117-88 win over the New York Knicks.

The Indians and the Cubs will do battle again on Friday, October 28, this time at Wrigley Field in Chicago.
