On Thursday, October 27th in Western Pennsylvania, the Pittsburgh Steelers get to host their ACC Coastal rival in the No. 25 Virginia Tech Hokies. Kickoff from Heinz Field will be at 7:00 PM ET. ESPN will have the telecast. The available live stream can be found on WatchESPN.
Virginia Tech enters the game at 5-2 (3-1) on the season. The Hokies’ two losses on the year are to the Tennessee Volunteers at the Battle of Bristol and an odd one to Dino Babers’ Syracuse Orange in the Carrier Dome two weeks ago. Fortunately for the Hokies, they have already beaten two big threats in the ACC Coastal this season in the North Carolina Tar Heels and the Miami Hurricanes.
Pittsburgh comes in also at 5-2 (3-1). The Panthers’ two losses on the year have come to the Oklahoma State Cowboys and North Carolina in back-to-back weeks. Should Pittsburgh be able to knock off Virginia Tech at home on Thursday, the Panthers might end up ranked. At the very least, they’ll be in the discussion in the exciting ACC Coastal race.
