High Value SF

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist-Charlotte Hornets (5,400): If you can’t afford to go with the biggest names at SF, don’t worry, there are plenty of nice options under 6K. One of the best is Hornets forward Michael Kidd-Glichrist who went off for 23 points and 14 rebounds in Wednesday’s win over Milwaukee. MKG is poised for a breakout season if he can stay healthy, and he got it off to a great start. He should be able to continue his production tonight in a playoff series rematch against Miami.∗∗∗

Justise Winslow-Miami Heat (5,100): Winslow and the Heat will try and slow down MKG, but don’t overlook Winslow’s own fantasy potential after he showcased his improved offensive game on Wednesday against Orlando. Winslow shot 7-15 from the field and added eight board, four assists, two blocks, and a steal. He’ll need to step up for the Heat especially on offense this season since Dwyane Wade, Luol Deng, and Chris Bosh are all no longer with the unit from the start of last season. Winslow should keep getting plenty of playing time giving him time to produce across the stat sheet. ∗∗∗∗

T.J. Warren-Phoenix Suns (4,400): The Suns are in Oklahoma City to take on the Thunder in their first home game without Kevin Durant. Phoenix didn’t look good to open the season getting routed by the Kings, but one bright spot was solid play form T.J. Warren. Warren got the start in place of P.J. Tucker who is still working his way back from injury and the former NC State star scored 14 points to go with five rebounds, two steals, and an assist. Coach Earl Watson is looking for pieces for the Suns’ future and Warren is an important piece to evaluate on the wing meaning he should be lined up for solid playing time moving forward.

Bojan Bogdanovic-Brooklyn Nets (4,200): Bogdanovic led the Nets with 21 points in their season-opening loss to Boston adding five rebounds and a steal in his 23 minutes. He’s a sharp-shooter who can catch fire on any given night making him a boom-or-bust play tonight against the Pacers.
