Leicester have drawn level at White Hart Lane through an Ahmed Musa equalizer only minutes after the halftime interval.

Spurs defensive midfielder Victor Wanyama had a moment he’ll want to forget, as he inadvertently headed back to Jamie Vardy, who was more than willing to receive the Kenyan’s gift. Vardy then took Eric Dier to the byline before setting Ahmed Musa up with a pinpoint accurate pullback.

It’s Musa’s second goal for Leicester in his first 11 appearances as a Fox this season. Musa took some punishment from Kyle Walker to knock the ball home and was hurt on the play. It won’t hurt as much knowing what he’s accomplished.

More importantly, it is the first goal that Tottenham has conceded from open play in the Premier League so far this season. Spurs have now conceded five goals, which is still three goals less than any other team.

However, Spurs will be more concerned of their inability to win games of late. They’ll need to start winning soon if they plan on vying for the Premier League crown.

Claudio Ranieri has never lost a match to Spurs, winning seven and drawing three. Leicester are currently in 12th place but can potentially vault up to eighth place with a win at White Hart Lane.

Spurs could potentially climb up to first in the table if they can somehow muster a winner in the last quarter of the match. They have 19 points from 9 matches and are currently behind league leader’s Arsenal by four points after the Gunners smashed Sunderland 4-1 earlier in  the day.

Leicester have been playing better lately and Ranieri will be ecstatic to see Vardy in on the goal. Leicester’s talisman has been struggling so far this season. He is, however, perpetually dangerous and has the kind of pace that strikes fear into the heart of most defenses.

Wanyama’s gift made the job for the Englishman that much easier.
