Dede Westbrook continues to amaze us week after week here this season, and he was at it again on Saturday night

Over the course of the past few weeks here in the 2016 college football season, a number of stars have emerged on the radar. Without a shadow of a doubt, one of those new stars is Oklahoma wide receiver Dede Westbrook, who has dazzled us with his receiving ability.

Here’s the thing, though. Westbrook doesn’t just do his damage by catching passes from Baker Mayfield. Oh no — no, no, no. This young man is quite the star in the special teams area as well, and we saw that on Saturday night.

In what should be an easy outing this week, Oklahoma is taking on Kansas, and early on in this one ,Westbrook struck by taking this Jayhawks punt back 71 yards to the house for the score.

Again, week in and week out this young man is showing us all that he’s ready to become one of the faces of the college football world. He really introduced himself to the nation with his performance in the win over Texas in the Cotton Bowl, and he has seemingly not slowed down ever since that day in Dallas.

There’s no question that Oklahoma has one of the brightest young offensive stars on their hands, and we might be looking at someone who will be attending a Heisman ceremony sooner rather than later if he can keep up these performances on a regular basis.

Since the Sooners are playing Kansas on Saturday night, this might not be the only highlight that we see from Westbrook this evening.
