Here’s how you can watch Saturday afternoon’s Houston vs UCF game from TDECU Stadium online.
It’s been a tough month of October for Houston. Tom Herman’s team has lost two of its last three games after starting the year 4-0 and approaching the coveted top-four in the AP Poll. Now that the Cougars are out of the rankings, they’re just playing for a New Year’s Six bowl.
Greg Ward Jr. was a Heisman contender for the first few weeks of the year, but after two losses, his hopes to take home the award may have been demolished. He still has 2,179 passing yards and 13 touchdowns while leading the team with 417 yards and six scores.
Linell Bonner, Chance Allen and Steven Dunbar have been impressive receivers, though. Each of them has at least 500 yards receiving this season with eight combined touchdowns. It’s safe to say Ward Jr. doesn’t have a lack of solid targets.
After starting the season just 1-2, the UCF Knights have come back to win three of four games, putting the winless 2015 season behind them. In case you didn’t know, the Knights went 0-12 in the 2015 campaign.
Freshman quarterback McKenzie Milton seems to be the team’s best option at quarterback after testing out a couple of others. He has passed for 980 yards and eight touchdowns with only two picks and a 61 percent completion rate.
The run game averages nearly 200 yards per game with Dontravious Wilson, Jawon Hamilton and Adrian Killins leading the way.
