Former Texas Longhorns and Green Bay Packers tight end Jermichael Finley dressed up as Longhorns head coach Charlie Strong on the hot seat for Halloween.

Things have not been great for the Texas Longhorns in 2016. They are 3-4 under third-year head coach Charlie Strong. By now, shouldn’t the biggest blue-blood program in all of college football have popped under Strong.

He’s on the hot seat and former Longhorns tight end Jermichael Finley decided to be Strong of the hot seat for Halloween this year. It’s interesting to see a former Longhorns great throw this kind of shade at his alma mater’s head coach, but his costume is pretty comical to say the least.

Finley has the burnt orange polo buttoned all the way to the top, just like Strong does. He’s throwing out the undeniable Hook ‘Em Horns hand signal, expect he’s doing inside of a trash can held up by suspenders.

On the receptacle it says, “The Inevitable? #CharlieStrong #UTStrong. Texas faces one of the two undefeated teams in the Big 12 on Saturday in the No. 6 Baylor Bears. The University of Texas has said publicly that Strong will need to go 8-4 this regular season to be in good standing. Should the Longhorns fall to the Bears, the best Texas can do this regular season in 7-5.

Finley never played for Strong, spending his three seasons in Austin from 2005 to 2007. He would play a handful of seasons with the NFL’s Green Bay Packers before injuries derailed his once-promising career.

Maybe Finley is just poking fun at the constantly swirling rumors around Coach Strong’s status on the hot seat? Then again, Texas has looked progressively worse since Finley last played in Austin almost a decade ago. This football program has been on the decline since playing for the 2009 National Championship against the Alabama Crimson Tide.
