The Replay: Television ballers

It’s El and Al here, and we are excited to bring our podcast over to The Step Back from The Friendly Bounce! If you’ve been with us since the beginning, then by now you know we are total weirdos who know way too much about random NBA players. If you’re just joining us at The Step Back, we focus on NBA players lives off the court. We follow all the players on social media, read interviews with them, and watch documentaries about them. We know about their kids, parents, wives, and best friends. We are all about the players as people. Essentially, we are your go-to place for questions like:

On this week’s episode, we pay homage to The Step Back’s television-themed season preview with an episode focused on all things TV. We start off by playing casting directors and discussing which NBA stars are best suited to play our favorite TV characters. We hit on all the big ones including Samantha from Sex and the City, Pacey from Dawson’s Creek, Kramer from Seinfeld, and even Tammi Taylor from Friday Night Lights. There is also a very hot, and potentially controversial, take in here on the NBA star most likely to become president someday.
