Here’s how you can watch Saturday afternoon’s Temple vs Cincinnati game from Philadelphia online.
Cincinnati has been a tough team to judge this season. After starting 3-1 with a lone loss to Houston, the Bearcats have lost two of the last three games to drop to 4-3. Losses have come against South Florida and Connecticut, so they haven’t been that impressive.
After losing his starting job at the beginning of the 2016 season, former highly-touted quarterback Gunner Kiel got his first start against East Carolina last week and passed for 348 yards and four scores. It’s safe to say he’s earned his job back.
Devin Gray, Kahlil Lewis and Nate Cole have all been forces in the receiving game. They are the team’s top three receivers and have combined for nearly 1,400 yards and 10 touchdowns with 108 receptions.
Temple has had quite the opposite luck of Cincinnati to this point in the year. The Owls were just 1-2 through the first three weeks but have since won four out of five. The Owls have been one of the toughest teams in the AAC over the past couple of years.
Senior quarterback Phillip Walker has had a difficult time with his decision-making this season, however. He has completed just 57 percent of his passes to go along with 10 interceptions and 11 touchdowns. Keith Kirkwood has been his favorite target, connecting with Walker 25 times for 382 yards and three scores.
The run game has been impressive, though. Ryquell Armstead has been the team’s leading rusher with 613 yards and nine touchdowns on 6.7 yards per rush. Jahad Thomas is second with 413 yards and nine scores as well.
