The Texas Longhorns pulled off a big upset over No. 8 Baylor at home and Twitter had plenty to say about the win.
The Big 12 has probably knocked themselves out of any chance at making the College Football Playoff. With two undefeated teams in West Virginia and Baylor remaining going into Saturday, they both ended up losing and now the conference has all but said goodbye to their chances. The upset over Baylor was a phenomenal effort from the Texas Longhorns and Charlie Strong had his guys ready to play.
The defense was sound and they were able to hold one of the best offenses in the nation to just 34 points. Then when they needed it most, they put together an offensive drive that allowed the team to go down and kick the field goal for the win, as they knocked off the No. 8 team in the nation. It was a big confidence boost for Texas at home. After the win, Twitter had plenty to say about the win in Austin.

To see the way the Longhorns still fight for their head coach might still give him a shot at keeping his job. This win over Baylor was a big one and really gives the school a chance at making a bowl game this year.
