Utah Utes defensive back Chase Hansen showed support for Washington Huskies quarterback Jake Browning and his pursuit of the Heisman Trophy.
The Washington Huskies and Utah Utes played an absolute classic on Saturday afternoon. It took a punt return for a touchdown to break up a tie late in the fourth quarter to give the undefeated Huskies the win. Jake Browning was sensational for Washington yet again and there are many that believe he can win the Heisman Trophy this season.
Even the team he helped beat was showing him support after the game. As the players left the field, Browning got a lot of love from Utah’s Chase Hansen, who showed the quarterback support in pursuit of his endeavors.
It’s always great to see sportsmanship between two teams, especially after a grueling battle. Browning is a special talent at the quarterback position and his team has a chance to potentially compete for a National Championship this season.
He’s going to win a lot of hardware for this season, but there is no bigger award Browning can win than the Heisman Trophy. If the Huskies go undefeated and he continues to put up big numbers, then it is going to be tough for anyone to pick against him.
