Here’s how you can watch Saturday afternoon’s Virginia vs Louisville game from Charlottesville online.
Louisville is one of the most exciting teams in the nation, and it has Lamar Jackson to thank. The sophomore quarterback has been one of the most enticing Heisman candidates in recent years and the Cardinals are off to a 6-1 start with a playoff appearance on the mind.
Jackson leads the team in both passing, obviously, and rushing. He has 2,161 passing yards and 18 touchdowns to go along with 908 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns. He’s on pace to put up over 60 total touchdowns on the year.
James Quick has been his favorite target, connecting with the dual-threat 32 times for 523 yards and four touchdowns. Jamari Staples, Cole Hikutini and Jaylen Smith are also receivers to keep an eye on for the Cardinals.
Virginia began the season 0-3 and it looked like the Cavaliers would never be able to rebound from the slow start. However, they won the next two games and hope was restored, but only for those two weeks. Virginia is down to 2-5 now and a win over Louisville doesn’t seem likely.
Kurt Benkert has had a solid season, though, passing for 1,859 yards and 14 touchdowns with seven interceptions. His top receiver has been Olamide Zaccheaus who has caught 31 passes for 439 yards and five touchdowns.
The Cavaliers’ run game has been mediocre, at best, despite Taquan Mizzell’s 461 yards and four touchdowns on 5.6 yards per carry. Albert Reid has accounted for 366 yards and six scores as well.
