West Brom play Manchester City at The Hawthorns on Saturday, October 29. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
West Brom face off against Manchester City at The Hawthorns in match day ten of the Premier League. Surprisingly though, it is Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City who are in greater need of a win than Tony Pulis’ side. City are without a win since they beat Swansea at the end of September. West Brom had a good run of four games without defeat before they lost to Liverpool 2-1 last weekend.
Manchester City will be happy to see West Brom though as they have beaten The Baggies nine times in a row. The last time the Black Country side took anything from a game against City was way back in December 2011. Everything points to a victory for Manchester City here. Tony Pulis and West Brom can take solace in the fact that they held out a rampant Spurs side for the majority of 90 minutes and almost managed to win.
A similar gameplan will almost certainly be applied against Man City who should dominate possession and every other stat in the match facts. Whethey they dominate the important one of goals scored is yet to be seen. It will take another rousing performance from Ben Foster in the West Brom goal as well as bit of luck.
Ultimately though I can’t see that happening and I think Pep Guardiola will get back to wining ways. Liverpool showed that a defensive Tony Pulis side can be picked apart and Manchester City should manage to grab a couple of goals.
