What time can fans see the WWE Hell in a Cell 2016 pay-per-view start?
Every October, WWE’s most dangerous structure, Hell in a Cell, comes into play. This last got used at WrestleMania 32 when The Undertaker beat Shane McMahon. However, instead of just being used once, the cell will come into play three times on Sunday night.
Overuse of Hell in a Cell may be a fair argument here. These gimmick matches can be more effective if they are used just once, but WWE will be testing its limits for the upcoming pay-per-view.
The other side of this is more being better. Hell in a Cell usually comes around just once per year, so we may not see the cage used until next October.
As for who’s battling inside Hell in a Cell, Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns vs. Rusev, and Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte will all take place. WWE has billed this as a “triple main event”, so we don’t know which match will be the headliner. This probably won’t be known until the second cell match has taken place.
Banks vs. Flair is the popular choice to close the show. It’s the first time women have wrestled in one of these bouts, so fans want to see them get the extra reward by being the main event of a WWE PPV. This would be the first time this has happened, not including NXT TakeOver: Respect in October 2015.
To see which Hell in a Cell match will headline the show, fans can tune in at 8:00 p.m. ET on the WWE Network or on their PPV provider. The Kickoff Show can also be seen one hour before, beginning at 7:00 p.m. ET on YouTube and the WWE Network.
