2. Jabrill Peppers – S/LB/RB/RS – Michigan Wolverines

Some may argue that Jabrill Peppers should be the top player on this list. In a way, I can’t blame them since he’s a threat at multiple positions and shows no weakness in playing any of them. The only thing scarier than him may be an actual wolverine that attacks with vicious tenacity.

On the defensive side of the ball, Peppers is a no-nonsense hybrid between safety and outside linebacker. He has no issue attacking the run or rushing the passer. Regardless of who has the ball, once Jabrill lowers his shoulder into them, it’s game over. He’ll even attack offensive guards that pull so that he can free up other defenders. Considering the fact that most guards weigh close to 100 pounds more than him, that level of fearlessness is a scary thing.

Offensively, Peppers is a dual-threat as a running back and a return specialist. He’s a threat to score a touchdown whenever the ball touches his hands and has no issue running through a defender. Even though he can be an agile and elusive runner, he prefers to deploy an aggressive style similar to how he plays defense.

Due to the fact that he literally seems to be everywhere on the football field, Jabrill Peppers is one of the scariest college football players in the game today. He also may be one of the scariest players that we’ve seen over the past few years.
