24. team. 46. It was a miserable day for a team that should have been feeling better about itself following last Sunday’s comeback win at Tennessee. Instead, quarterback Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis offense could only manage 277 total yards in a 16-point home loss. Luck had more than half (60) of the team’s 105 rushing yards. He was also sacked six times and his two touchdown passes were offset by a pair of turnovers. On the other hand, the Colts’ struggling defense allowed 422 total yards and allowed Chiefs quarterbacks Alex Smith and Nick Foles to throw for a combined 350 yards and three touchdowns.

Next Week: It could be an offensive explosion by both teams as the Colts travel north to Lambeau Field to battle the always-dangerous Green Bay Packers. You’ll recall the first clash between quarterbacks Andrew Luck and Aaron Rodgers, a stirring 30-27 come-from-behind win for at Indianapolis four years ago.

Playoff hopes: They don’t look very good at the moment. The Colts are a half-game out of last place in the AFC South and now two full games behind the first-place Texans. The defense remains a liability and Andrew Luck has taken a beating to date this season. There’s eight games to go but this team has to start to show some progress quickly.
. 3-5. Previous: .
