High Salary SG

Giannis Antetokounmpo-Milwaukee Bucks (9,600): The Bucks continue to run Giannis at the point each night and he’s producing in multiple categories as a result. He has at least 40 fantasy points in all three of Milwaukee’s games this year although he has yet to really go off for a monster night. He had a season-high eight assists against the Pistons on Sunday showing he’s settling into his role running the offense, and he’s in a great matchup against the Pelicans tonight. He is averaging just a few points less than James Harden and is less risky than Harden at almost 2K less in salary.

Evan Fournier-Orlando Magic (6,000): Orlando has some promising young talent, but the Frank Vogel era has gotten off to a rocky start as the team rolls into Philadelphia 0-3 after losses to the Cavs, Pistons, and Heat to start the year. Fournier has actually played pretty well in two of those losses scoring 20 and 22 points. He was held to just eight points in Orlando’s loss to Detroit when his playing time was limited because the game was out of reach. Fournier typically plays pretty heavy minutes, and he should be able to take advantage of a good matchup against the 76ers and post a good line tonight.∗∗

Zach LaVine-Minnesota Timberwolves (5,900): LaVine and the Timberwolves are also looking for their first win of the season after dropping games on the road in Memphis and Sacramento. To add injury to insult, they lost Ricky Rubio to a sprained elbow which will keep him out indefinitely. While Kris Dunn will replace Rubio in the lineup, it may be LaVine who picks up some play-making responsibility. LaVine was already starting and has posted 29 and 29.5 fantasy points in the T-Wolves first two games. In those games, he is averaging 20 points, five rebounds, and 2.5 assists. If his assist numbers see even a little bump with Rubio sidelined, he’ll be a great buy at this price tonight. ∗∗∗∗
